Student union elections across Nigerian universities have a credibility problem, results get contested, eligibility gets disputed, and turnout suffers because students don't fully trust the process. Dvo wanted to fix that with a platform built on blockchain-backed, tamper-proof voting, starting with FUNAAB and built to scale across other schools. It had to enforce real voter eligibility, registration status, cleared fees, a valid student ID, while making results transparent enough that nobody has to simply take the outcome on faith.

We designed and built Dvo end-to-end, starting with voter eligibility verification, checking registration status, outstanding fees and a valid student ID before anyone can cast a vote, so eligibility disputes are settled before election day, not after.

We built multi-university election tracking so schools like FUNAAB, UNILAG, LASU, FUTO and OOU each show live status and countdowns for their own elections, backed by blockchain-backed vote security so every result is provably tamper-proof.

Alongside voting itself, we built a political news aggregation layer that pulls campus political stories per university, so students stay informed on the candidates and issues, not just the ballot.

Dvo is live running real student union elections across 6 Nigerian universities, FUNAAB, UNILAG, FUOOYE, LASU, FUTO and OOU, with voter eligibility enforced automatically and results tracked on tamper-proof, blockchain-backed infrastructure. What started as a single-school pilot at FUNAAB is now built to carry student democracy across campuses nationwide.
