Booking a musician, DJ or live performer for an event has always meant scrolling through Instagram DMs, chasing quotes over WhatsApp, and hoping the act actually shows up. SteadyGig came to us with a simple but ambitious brief: build a platform where event planners and everyday hosts could discover verified performers nearby and lock in a booking in minutes, not days. It had to work both ways, giving musicians and DJs a reliable channel to fill their calendar with paid gigs instead of chasing leads themselves.

We designed and built SteadyGig end-to-end, from the discovery experience that lets planners browse musicians, DJs and performers by genre, availability and crowd size, to the three-step booking flow that takes a request from search to confirmed in seconds.

On the performer side, we built profile and verification tooling so every act on the platform comes with real reviews and a vetted track record, and wired up secure in-app payments so money never has to change hands over DM.

Ahead of launch, we built a dedicated waitlist funnel to validate demand with real musicians and event planners before writing a single line of the marketplace's matching logic, the product you see today was shaped directly by that early signal.

SteadyGig launched its waitlist with the three-step booking flow front and centre, and the response spoke for itself: over 2,481 musicians and event planners signed up organically, on the strength of the product experience and positioning we built, not paid acquisition. The platform now has verified profiles, instant booking and secure payments in place, ready to carry that waitlist straight into its first live bookings.
