Giving a self-published science bulletin a real archive

The Challenge

Tixa Newsletter is written by a team of practising medical laboratory scientists in Nigeria, covering everything from the science behind love to career development for their own profession. Ten volumes in, the work still had nowhere to live, no single place to read past issues, see who was behind them, or find the newsletter's own contributors and editorial team. The brief was to give a genuinely academic body of work a home that looked as credible as the science inside it.

Designing an archive worth citing

What We Did

We designed and built the Tixa Newsletter site end-to-end, anchored by a volume archive that houses all ten issues, each tagged by field, from infectious disease to traditional medicine, with a summary and a direct link to read the full volume.

We built out a full team and contributors section crediting every person by name and role, from project management and editing to design and research, so the newsletter reads as the collaborative, credentialed publication it actually is, not an anonymous PDF.

We closed the loop with an enquiries and sponsorship contact flow, so institutions or sponsors interested in Tixa's work have a direct way to reach the team behind it.

Ten volumes, one credible home

The Results

Tixa Newsletter is live with its full ten-volume archive browsable in one place, alongside a public team and contributors page crediting 11 team members and 12 contributors by name. What started as a self-published bulletin now reads like a real, ongoing science publication, with a direct channel open for sponsorship and enquiries.

"CWT gave Tixa a home that finally looks like the work we put into it. Readers can see every volume, every contributor, and reach out to us directly, it feels like a real publication now."
