Building for connection, not just swiping
The Challenge
Most dating apps optimise for volume, endless swiping, endless matches that go nowhere. Vybes wanted something different: a mobile app where people looking for love, friendship, or just good vibes could build real, authentic connections instead of getting lost in a numbers game. The brief was to design and build that experience from the ground up as a native mobile app, profiles, discovery and conversation, all built around genuine connection rather than volume.

What We Did
We designed and built the Vybes mobile app end-to-end, starting with profile creation, photos and bio, so people can show up as themselves from the first screen.
We built a discovery experience for browsing other users, backed by a matching system that connects compatible people, whether they're on Vybes looking for a relationship or just good vibes.
Once a match happens, we built in-app chat so conversations stay inside the app, keeping the whole journey, from first profile view to first real conversation, in one place.
