Making randomness something people could actually trust

The Challenge

Crypto lotteries have a trust problem. Most run on a black box, a backend picks the winner, and players just have to take the platform's word for it. WinFlux wanted to build the opposite: a pool-based rewards platform where every winner is chosen on-chain, in the open, with no operator able to thumb the scale. The brief was to design an experience that felt as simple as a raffle, while every number on screen, the pool balance, the countdown, the payout, was backed by verifiable, tamper-proof randomness.

20hr

Pool cycle from open to payout

90%

Of every pool paid straight to the winner

100%

On-chain, Chainlink VRF-verified draws

$10

Minimum entry, in ETH on Base

Every pool, transparent from open to payout

Balance, countdown and winner selection are all visible on-chain in real time, nothing happens behind the scenes.

Designing trust into every screen

What We Did

We designed and built WinFlux end-to-end on Base Network, starting with the public pool lifecycle, open, locked, winner selected, paid out, made visible at every step so players always know exactly where a pool stands.

We integrated Chainlink VRF for winner selection so the randomness behind every draw is cryptographically verifiable, not just promised, and paired it with an automated payout flow that sends 90% of the pool straight to the winner's wallet with no manual step in between.

Beyond the public pools, we built custom pool creation so users can set their own entry fee and invite a private circle of friends, turning WinFlux from a single lottery into a platform for running fair, social prize pools of any size.

The Results

WinFlux launched on Base with public pools running on a 20-hour cycle, Chainlink VRF wired into every draw, and payouts settling automatically the moment a winner is selected. Players can now watch a pool's balance, lock time and winner selection happen in real time, no operator, no black box, just a contract doing exactly what it says it will.

"CWT didn't just build us a lottery app, they built the trust layer. Every design decision made the fairness of the platform visible, and that's exactly what a Web3 product like ours needed."
